The Thanksgiving season is nearly upon us, and we have a lot to be grateful for.

-This has been a stellar year for Black Pixel. We have continued our trend of doubling in size each year and are now sitting at 60 people. We've been incredibly fortunate in that we've continued to attract people that are both wonderful and talented to our team, and I don't think I've ever been happier with the folks I get to work with.

-We also just shipped a major title for one of our biggest clients, easily the highest profile success we've had to date.

-Finally, and most exciting of all, we have more than doubled the size of our product team. As a result of this new growth NetNewsWire, Kaleidoscope, and Versions are all under active development. We have rolled out a beta build of Versions, which now supports svn 1.8, and are in the process of shipping a new beta of Kaleidoscope with support for ignoring whitespace.

Let's celebrate!

If you can make it out to Seattle, we will also be doubling the size of our annual holiday party this year - both penthouse offices will be open, each of which will have its own bar. The party starts at 5pm on December 6th, and will feature food and live music, so please join us if you can.

Whether or not you can make it to the party (but you should), we're extending the celebration to everyone else by offering coupon codes ("CELEBRATE") good through December 1st for 50% off on direct sales of Versions and Kaleidoscope, lowering their prices from $59 and $69.99 to $29.50 and $34.99, respectively. The price has also been dropped accordingly for Kaleidoscope on the Mac App Store and should be available at $34.99 shortly.

We hope your holidays are great!

This has been a great year for us, and we hope it has been for you as well. We're looking forward to even better things in 2014!
